Description

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo “Concrete”. De Fermo, Abruzzo

Terroir: Calcareous clay. Vineyards located in Loreto Aprutino.
Vinification: Hand harvested in small baskets. Six days maceration. Spontaneous fermentation with no temperature control in concrete tanks. Aged twelve months in concrete tank. No fining, no filtration.

“Concrete” by De Fermo is a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo produced in the prestigious terroir of Loreto Aprutino, between the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic Sea. Vinified only in cement tanks, it is characterized by a rustic and free-range profile, a hymn to the authentic farmer doing and to the craftsman who produced it: Stefano. A pulsating and drinkable sip, with an herbaceous profile and subtle tannin, to drink several times. Wine made with old style artisanal methods
