Rainwater Reserva Madeira Barbeito 500ml

The story goes that Rainwater Madeira is so named after the madeira casks were left out in the rain, the wood absorbed the water and a new style of fortified wine was created. Our producers definitely take more care today – storing the Babeito for five years in French oak casks at stable temperatures.

The wine is medium dry, with a nice touch of acid and is one of the most popular wines in Madeira.

It’s perfect with our salted nuts, olives and cheese selections – and will keep for months after opening due to the fortification and heating process during making.
