Pont l’Evêque Coupe

Description
Description
An old Normandy cheese, Pont L’Eveque is made form the milk of the tiny Normandie cows in the Pays D’Auge. It’s shape is like a block, with a golden rind that has a pinkish hue. The texture is soft and dense, the aroma pungent and earthy, but the flavor is the star here: robust and full, the taste is buttery and milky, with notes of nuts and sweet grasses. Excellent on a cheese board with baguette and apples, or usually served in preparations that include potatoes and onions (Pont L’Eveque would be wonderful in a quiche). Pair with a Riesling or a tannic Malbec.
This is a whole cheese weighing 400g
