24/10/24: Cheers to cheese & beer

Description

It’s one of Lucy the Cheesemonger’s favourite combinations – a pint and a chunk of cheese… On this evening you’ll be tasting hand-picked beer from Richard the 1st’s cellar with cheeses from our Royal Hill cave. We love the combination of the acidity of the beer and the rich, creaminess of the cheese.

We’ll also be learning about the traditional art of washing cheeses in beer and cider and the infamous Stinking Bishop maybe involved.
