Created in 962 AD by a monk as part of a tithe to the Abbot, this is a powerful cheese. It is similar in odor and flavour to a Munster, and therefore not for the faint-hearted! Traditionally Mariolles comes in 800g portions, so we were delighted to find this 200g block. This enables you to have a washed-rind cheese on your board without having it overwhelm the selection.
