This dish is completely stress free and can effortlessly
provide the
most delicious starter.
- Take off the wooden
lid of the Vacherin box, and place the cheese
(still encased in the rest of the box) on to a sheet of aluminium foil.
- You can then pour a
small glass of white wine over the cheese, but
this is purely optional. Also you can embed sprigs of thyme and
garlic cloves into the cheese, which compliment the flavour of the
Vacherin wonderfully.
- Cover with foil and
bake in a preheated oven at 200°C
(Gas mark 6) for about 25 minutes. Serve with plenty
of good crusty bread.
